The Project Manager’s Responsibilities
Our PMs are experienced at handling multi-author, multi-contributor, and fast-track projects. They guide projects through all phases of production, from submission of the manuscript, editing, and design to final output. Amnet’s PMs analyze project requirements and own the primary responsibility for the following tasks, proactively resolving unique critical issues related to the content and layout of the projects, if any, and production management until the dispatch of the final deliveries per the SLA.
- Plan, communicate, schedule, and manage traffic.
- Establish the copyediting workflow, and maintain the schedule.
- Hire, manage, and review the work of all editorial freelancers.
- Maintain, review, and monitor the photo and line art programs.
- Assist in design creation and review.
- Quality control of all phases of production, revisions, and outputs.
- Keep track of budget.
- Deliver final files, and archive.
- Send out weekly production reports detailing the status of all live titles.
